Music, sports and travelling

Hi readers! Like I said you in the last post, the last weeks I have been working in a questionnaire related to hobbies, that are music, travelling and sports. Fourteen people answered me, so seeing the percentages  I am going to do a summary of all of them. Say that all peple have done my questionnaire is 15-16 years old.

Concerning music, approximately 85% of the people say that they listen to music, and the rest don´t listen to it. To the majority of the people who listen to music like Ska, reggae and pop , and the rest prefer reggaeton, heavy metal or rap. 13 out of 14 listen to music every day, and one person says that he/she listen to music only in specific days.

Plenty of the students hear to music in three languages: Basque, Spanish and English. Most of them use the mobilphone to hear it, and some of them the computer. However, the radio or the MP3 are not used for anyone. A significant part of the interviewees  use the music to relax (mostly), and also to enjoy, disconnect, motivate... To finish with, only 2 out of 14 have a musical idol, that are: Steve Harris (bassist of the group Iron Maiden) and the already died basque singer  Xalbador.

Regarding sports, 100% of the students practice it, and they all are part of one team. Approximately 50% of them play football, other 4 people (more than 25%) play basketball, and the rest practice other sports like Basque pilota, cycling, athletics, swimming, rowing... This sports take mostly between 2-5 and 5-10 hours to the students, and in some exception, more than 10 or between 1 and 2 hours. In addition, I asked them if they have to choose only one sport for the rest of their lifes which would be, and here there is a lot of variety of sports; football, basketball and Basque pilota are the most elected, and the other are tennis, ski, rowing, rhythmic gymnastics... Finally, say that for 13 out of 14 sport is very important in their lifes, and only for 1 it have not any importance.

The last theme is travelling, and all the interviewees have ever done it. The majority, the first time travelled to places near Basque country, to different cities of Spain. Although, if they have to choose one country or city to travel right now, almost all would say a place out of Spain. A high percent of the students usually want to relax and to do tourism when the travel, and few of them also check the culture or taste the gastronomy. 6 out of 14 mates travel 1-2 times in a year, and other 6 between 2-5. But also are exceptions, and are that one person doesn´t travel and another that travels more than 5 times in a year.

As a conclusion, I ask them to put one mark to my questionnaire, and the average is for 7.5 out of 10.
